This is a repost of a deal that has gone to Deal talk because inventory is once again in stock. This deal regularly goes in and out of stock so if you miss the deal it's worth checking it every week or so. These tuners work great

Cheapest HTPC if you have an old Win 7 PC with media center (or can run win 7 in a virtual pc) is to use media center along with these tuners since that will provide free tv listings and work with other free apps such as mcebuddy and comskip to strip commercial and re-encode into a format emby or plex could play to roku's or fire sticks etc. Others use emby or plex's dvr solution which will end up with you buying plex pass or paying $5 a month for tv listings. If you want to dip your toe in and have the old hardware try that....some smart folks even have media center where it can be installed on win 10 pc's. Google for more details.

Finally I seem to have a "fan" who apparently has nothing better to do but follow behind every post I make and vote "self promotion" so if you see that even if it makes no sense, that's why.
